5 Nice things that happened this week
The "feeling happy for no good reason"-edition.
- Feeling good
Okay, I'm not sure if I can actually count this as something that happened, but I've just generally been feeling happy this whole week. Might be all the aikido, idk (or the giant crush I seem to have developed, but let's not talk about that). - School
Did not miss a single day of lectures. I don't think that's happened for years! - Surprise
I discovered something surprising. So that was fun :P - Had dinner with some friends
Some of whom I hadn't seen for almost a year. Wee! - Becky-fic!
Why yes, I do pretty much read a new flavour of fanfic every week. Why do you ask?

5 Nice things that happened this week
- Freewriting
I don't usually do these in any kind of order. Consider this one point the exception. This was the best thing. I started freewriting again. Did not realise how much I had missed that before I started again. Perhaps this point should be "writing", because I've just generally been doing more of that lately. I even did sort of an aimless little supernatural-ficlet/drabble that's probably not going anywhere but I'll let you know if it does ;) - Sam/Gabriel
Is my new OTP. - New shoes!
Spring/summer-shoes. I totally needed those right now. Even if spring is a couple months away... they're really pretty okay? - Got a new laptop
And it is the awesomest awesome thing :D. It's for school, but I love everything about it. It has a dragon on it's cover, okay? - Managed to get to all my appointments
Not counting lectures here, but everything I told someone I'd do, I did. There is something satisfying about keeping your own promises.

We had a project that was due today, so it was really high time we finished it. - Supernatural
Is still a pretty awesome show, even if they did kill off my favourite character :( - Party
Although I'm having a hard time deciding if it was a good thing or not, considering how I feel right now. - Going out for coffee

I miss my younger self
Jan. 5th, 2012 16:42I used to be the kind of person who could sput off at least 10 random facts about things in any given conversation. Just, stuff from anywhere and everywhere. It seemed effortless, because everything was interesting and I'd jsut look up things I was curious about on the internet or when I was younger and we had dial-up, the library.
Every week I'd go to the library and get one or two plastic bags, filled until they almost burst with books. Sometimes the bag did burst. Now I barely read one or two books a month (not counting novel-length fanfiction), and I never read newspapers. The latter is mostly because I don't have a subscription, but I could still go to their websites.
I don't.
I wanna be that curious again.

- Finding AVEN

Not always a positive thing, but I'd say this year there were more good parts than bad parts. Make of that what you will. - Getting an A
in java-programming. Didn't expect to do that well, so that was a nice surprise :) - New years eve
was good this year. We were 25 people there in total, and I stayed till 4 in the morning. Learned some pretty interesting things about my stepfather's family, among other things. - The legend of Sigurd and Gudrún
An english translation/adaption of poems from the Poetic Edda, which I got for Christmas this year. <3 - Magicka
On sale on Steam, so I bought it; it is awesome :D
Where do you start?
I've pretty much had a two year long writer's block. I feel like something burned the creativity out of me. Perhaps I directed it elsewhere, somehow, without meaning to. I'd like to start writing again, though.
